Memorandum of understanding signed between SOS Children's Villages Syria and Drug Control Administration to raise awareness of drug risks among youth

Given that building a healthy and prosperous community lies in cultivating a well-informed youth, a memorandum of understanding was signed at the Drug Control Administration headquarters between SOS Children's Villages Syria and the Drug Control Administration. The memorandum aims to enhance the concept of prevention by raising awareness of the dangers of drug abuse, including its psychological, physical, and legal consequences, and correcting the misconceptions associated with it.

During the signing session, both parties emphasized the importance of this collaboration in achieving the memorandum's objectives in an optimal manner. They stressed the necessity of collaborated efforts from all governmental and non-governmental entities to increase awareness across all segments of society and enhance capacities to foster a responsible and informed generation. SOS Children's Villages Syria extends heartfelt thanks to the esteemed administration for their gracious response to this initiative and their confidence in the association’s vision, hoping for continued collaboration for the public good.
