SOS Children's Villages launches Response Project in Aleppo

SOS Children's Villages held the opening session of the Humanitarian Response Project, represented by local and regional team members as well as local partners. The session aimed to reopen the association’s services in Aleppo.

The project aims to address the humanitarian needs caused by the earthquake. Its goals include supporting families in shelters by providing supportive kits for 450 children, distributing hygiene kits to 480 families to help meet their basic needs, and implementing empowerment programs for 113 families across various sectors such as education and health sectors.

Long-term solutions will also be implemented through enhancing living standards. Additionally, the project aims to raise awareness about children's rights and the importance of providing proper care for them. This initiative will benefit 12,000 beneficiaries from schools and the community by creating a safe environment to enhance the children's capabilities, protect them, and ensure a dignified life for them.
