Minister Munajjed led meeting of National Committee for Children's Rights to endorse Child Protection Plan and Foster Care Guide

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Luay Imad Al-Din Munajjed, led a working meeting for members of the National Committee for Children's Rights, attended by President of the Syrian Commission for Family Affairs and Population, Samar Al-Sabai.

The meeting focused on discussing the National Child Protection Plan and the Foster Care Guide prepared by the Syrian Commission for Family Affairs and Population. Subsequently, both the Protection Plan and the Foster Care Guide were unanimously approved by all committee members. Minister Munajjed emphasized the importance of the executive programmatic plan for the national strategy for development of early childhood, which outlines the roles and responsibilities of each entity. He stressed the necessity of final consensus among all parties before presenting it to the Council of Ministers for endorsement. The President of the Syrian Commission for Family Affairs and Population affirmed that the plan was developed in full cooperation among all relevant ministries and entities, with comprehensive review and input received from all. She pointed out that the plan's success relies on the commitment of all parties involved and the implementation mechanisms.
