On International Day of the Girl Child: Tala from SOS Children's Villages Embodies Ambition and Excellence in Syria

On International Day of the Girl Child, we presented a glimpse of Tala’s life as an exemplary figure among many girls in SOS Children's Villages Syria, who thrive in a safe environment which allows them to grow without limits.

Tala, a remarkable 13-year-old girl, stands out amongst her peers with multiple talents. One of her primary interests is her passion for RoboTech. Tala participated in competitions last year and, with her team, secured third place with a bronze medal in Lattakia governorate, awaiting higher-level competitions and opportunities ahead.

Tala’s artistic talent has always been present in the various SOS art exhibitions with her paintings. Tala also loves dancing and is preparing for a special performance with her dance group as part of an art exhibition organized by SOS Children's Villages by the end of the year. Tala is known for the positive impact she has on her peers, and her vibrant smile leaves a lasting impression on everyone. SOS Children's Villages Syria believes that these girls have a significant role to play in supporting and developing the community.
